വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ ഒമ്പതോടെ വീടിന് മുന്നിൽവെച്ചാണ് ജാനകിക്ക് കടന്നൽ കുത്തേറ്റത്. ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ ഇവരെ ബന്ധുക്കളും നാട്ടുകാരും ചേർന്ന് ഉടൻ ഇരിട്ടിയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചു. ചികിത്സയിൽ തുടരുന്നതിനിടെ ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെയാണ് മരണം സംഭവിച്ചത്.

An elderly woman from Vallithode in Kannur’s Iritty died after being stung by wasps and undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The 92-year-old was taken to the hospital on Friday morning after the incident near her home and died on Saturday morning.
