കോട്ടയം: തിടനാട് പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ പിണ്ണാക്കനാട്ട് രണ്ടു വയസ്സുകാരന്‍ കിണറ്റില്‍ വീണ് മരിച്ചു. പിണ്ണാക്കനാട് സിഎംഎസ് കോളനിയില്‍ കൊള്ളിക്കൊളവില്‍ അലന്‍ സുനീഷ ദമ്പതികളുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ കുട്ടിയായ ഇവാന്‍ അലക്‌സ് ആണ് ആള്‍മറയില്ലാത്ത കിണിറ്റല്‍ വീണ് മരണപ്പെട്ടത്. വൈകിട്ട് 3 മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം.

മുറ്റത്ത് കളിച്ചുനടന്ന കുട്ടിയെ കാണാതായതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് കിണറ്റില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. കിണറിന് ഉയരമുള്ള ആള്‍മറയില്ലാത്തതാണ് അപകട കാരണമായത്. കുട്ടിയെ ഉടന്‍ ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ടയില്‍ നിന്നും ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്‌സെത്തി പുറത്തെടുത്തെങ്കിലും ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.

കിണറ്റില്‍ പാമ്പിനെ കണ്ടതായി രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ പറഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും വെള്ളത്തില്‍ വീണാണ് മരണമെന്നാണ് നിഗമനം. ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ടയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിലുള്ള മൃതദേഹം പോസ്റ്റ്മോര്‍ട്ടത്തിനായി കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുമെന്ന് വാര്‍ഡ് മെംബര്‍ ജോസുകുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞു.
