പാലാ: പുനലൂർ-മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ സംസ്ഥാന പാതയിൽ പാലാ-പൊൻകുന്നം റൂട്ടിൽ പൂവരണിയിൽ സ്‌കൂട്ടറും കാറും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച് സ്‌കൂട്ടർ യാത്രക്കാരി മരിച്ചു. സ്‌കൂട്ടറിന്റെ പിന്നിൽ യാത്രചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്ന മകന് ഗുരുതര പരിക്കേറ്റു.

ഉരുളികുന്നം കല്ലോലിക്കൽ സുജിതകുമാരി (37) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഇളയമകൻ അമൽ കൃഷ്ണ(14) ആണ് പരിക്കേറ്റ് തെള്ളകത്തെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സയിൽ കഴിയുന്നത്.

ആദ്യം രണ്ട് കാറുകൾ തമ്മിൽ കൂട്ടിയിടിക്കുകയും അതിലൊരു കാർ നിയന്ത്രണംവിട്ട് യുവതി സഞ്ചരിച്ച സ്കൂട്ടറിലിടിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു. ഞായറാഴ്ച ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് 3.15-നായിരുന്നു അപകടം.

പൈകയിൽനിന്നുവന്ന കാറും പാലായിൽനിന്ന് പൈക ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോയ കാറും തമ്മിലാണ് ആദ്യം കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചത്. നിയന്ത്രണംവിട്ട ഒരു കാർ പാലായിൽനിന്ന് ഉരുളിക്കുന്നത്തേക്ക് പോയ സുജിതകുമാരി ഓടിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്‌കൂട്ടറിൽ ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തിൽ സുജിതകുമാരിയും മകനും സ്‌കൂട്ടറിൽനിന്ന് തെറിച്ച് റോഡിൽ വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു. അപകടത്തിൽ ഒരു കാർ തലകീഴായി മറിഞ്ഞു. കാറിൽ യാത്രചെയ്തിരുന്ന ഞണ്ടുപാറ കല്ലാമ്പിള്ളിൽ കെ.എ. ജോസഫിനെ(73) പാലായിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.

സുജിതകുമാരിയുടെ ഭർത്താവ് പരേതനായ പി.പി. മനോജ് (സന്തോഷ് പള്ളത്ത്). മക്കൾ: അതുൽ കൃഷ്ണ, അമൽ കൃഷ്ണ (ഇരുവരും ഇടമറ്റം കെ.ടി.ജെ.എം. ഹൈസ്‌കൂൾ വിദ്യാർഥികൾ). മൃതദേഹം പാലാ ജനറൽ ആശുപത്രി മോർച്ചറിയിൽ.
