ചണ്ഡീഗഡ്: ഹരിയാനയിൽ യുവതി കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ മൂന്നാം നിലയിൽ നിന്ന്ചാടി മരിച്ചു. ഡൽഹിയിലെ ഷാലിമാർ വില്ലേജ് സ്വദേശിനിയായ ദീപയാണ് മരിച്ചത്. സോഹ്നയിലെ ഒരു റെസിഡൻഷ്യൽ കോളനിയിലാണ് സംഭവം.

ഭർതൃപീഡനത്തെത്തുടർന്നാണ് യുവതി ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതെന്നാണ് ബന്ധുക്കൾ ആരോപിക്കുന്നത്. ഭർത്താവിൽ നിന്ന് നിരന്തരമായ പീഡനവും മർദനവും യുവതി നേരിട്ടിരുന്നതായാണ് ആരോപണം.

ജനക്പൂരി സ്വദേശിയായ ജിതേന്ദ്ര എന്ന ജിതിനും ദീപയും 2018 മാർച്ചിലാണ് വിവാഹിതരായത്. ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് എട്ടുവയസുള്ള ഒരു കുട്ടിയുണ്ട്. വിവാഹത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ തന്നെ ഇരുവർക്കുമിടയിൽ തർക്കങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ ആരോപണം.

പിന്നീട് ദമ്പതികൾ ഗുരുഗ്രാമിലേക്ക് താമസം മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ആറുമാസമായി ജിതേന്ദ്ര മകളെ നിരന്തരം പീഡിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നതായി ദീപയുടെ പിതാവ് പൊലീസിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.

സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് വിളിച്ച് മദ്യപിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ അവരുടെ മുന്നിൽവച്ച് ദീപയെ ജിതേന്ദ്ര പരിഹസിക്കാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെന്നും പിതാവ് ആരോപിച്ചു. നിരന്തരം ഭർത്താവിൽ നിന്ന് മർദനവും മോശം പെരുമാറ്റവും നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നതിനാലാണ് തന്റെ മകൾ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതെന്നാണ് ദീപയുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ മൊഴി.

വിവരം അറിഞ്ഞെത്തിയ പൊലീസ് ദീപയെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മരണം സംഭവിച്ചതായി ഡോക്ടർമാർ സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ പരാതിയിൽ കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും അന്വേഷണം പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണെന്നും പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.

പോസ്റ്റുമോർട്ടം റിപ്പോർട്ട് ലഭിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം തുടർനടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും ഭർത്താവിനെതിരെ കുടുംബം ഉന്നയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ആരോപണങ്ങൾ പരിശോധിച്ചുവരികയാണെന്നും പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
