കല്‍പ്പറ്റ: മകനെ കോടാലി കൊണ്ട് തലയ്ക്കടിച്ചു കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയ കേസില്‍ പിതാവിന് ജീവപര്യന്തം തടവും പിഴയും. പുല്‍പള്ളി മണല്‍വയല്‍ തെക്കേക്കര വീട്ടില്‍ ശിവദാസനെ യാണ് കല്‍പ്പറ്റ അഡീ. ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് ആന്‍ഡ് സെഷന്‍സ് കോടതി (ഒന്ന്) ജഡ്ജ് പി സെയ്തലവി ജീവപര്യന്തം തടവിനും ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ പിഴയടയ്ക്കാനും ശിക്ഷിച്ചത്.

2023 സെപ്റ്റംബറിലാണ് കേസിനാസ്പദമായ സംഭവം നടന്നത്. വീട്ടിലുണ്ടായ വഴക്കിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ശിവദാസന്‍ മകനായ അമലി (22) നെ മുറിയിൽ കയറി കോടാലി കൊണ്ട് തലയ്ക്കടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഈ കേസില്‍ 35 സാക്ഷികളെ വിസ്തരിക്കുകയും 65 ഓളം രേഖകള്‍ തെളിവായി നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

അന്നത്തെ പുല്‍പ്പള്ളി സ്റ്റേഷന്‍ ഇന്‍സ്‌പെക്ടര്‍ എസ്എച്ച്ഒ ആയിരുന്ന അനന്തകൃഷ്ണനാണ് കേസില്‍ അന്വേഷണം നടത്തി കോടതി മുമ്പാകെ കുറ്റപത്രം സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചത്. പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന് വേണ്ടി അഡിഷണല്‍ പബ്ലിക് പ്രോസിക്യൂട്ടര്‍ അഭിലാഷ് ജോസഫ് ഹാജരായി.
