തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇന്നും രാത്രികാല വൈദ്യുതി നിയന്ത്രണമെന്ന് കെഎസ്ഇബി. 900 മെഗാവാട്ടിൻ്റെ കുറവ് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ദീർഘകാല കരാറിൻ്റെ ഭാഗമായി ലഭിക്കേണ്ട 380 മെഗാവാട്ട് ഇന്ന് ലഭിക്കില്ല.

മധ്യപ്രദേശിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സ്വാപ്പ് വഴിയുള്ള 200 മെഗാവാട്ടും മുടങ്ങും. പല ജില്ലകളിലും മഴയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഉപഭോഗത്തിൽ കാര്യമായ കുറവില്ല. മഴയും പവർ എക്സ്ചേഞ്ചിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വൈദ്യുതി ലഭ്യതയും കാരണം ഇന്നലെ നിയന്ത്രണം വേണ്ടിവന്നില്ല.

അതിരൂക്ഷമാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വൈദ്യുത പ്രതിസന്ധി. സർക്കാർ പലതരത്തിലുള്ള പരിഹാരമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾ തേടുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഒന്നും ഫലം കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.ആണവ താപനിലയങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വൈദ്യുതി ലഭിക്കുന്നതിലും അനിശ്ചിതത്വം തുടരുന്നു.

പ്രതിസന്ധി രൂക്ഷമായ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ 10 രൂപയ്ക്ക് മുകളിൽ വൈദ്യുതി ലഭിച്ചാൽ വാങ്ങുന്നതിന് തടസ്സമില്ലെന്ന കാര്യം റെഗുലേറ്ററി കമ്മീഷൻ കെഎസ്ഇബിയെ അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. രണ്ടുദിവസത്തെ ആശ്വാസത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ ഇന്നലെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് വൈദ്യുതി നിയന്ത്രണം ഉണ്ടായി.

പലയിടങ്ങളിലും മൂന്നുതവണ വൈദ്യുതി തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു. 97.95 ദശലക്ഷം യൂണിറ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു ഇന്നലത്തെ വൈദ്യുതി ഉപയോഗം. 4785 മെഗാവാട്ട് വൈദ്യുതി പീക്ക് ടൈമിൽ വേണ്ടിവന്നു. ഇന്ന് 900 മെഗാവാട്ടിൻ്റെ കുറവ് ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് കെഎസ്ഇബി അറിയിച്ചു.

KSEB announced night time power restriction in state today also with expected shortage of 900 MW. 380 MW due under long-term contract from other states will not be available today and 200 MW through swap from Madhya Pradesh also will be disrupted. Though many districts received rain, consumption has not decreased significantly. Yesterday restriction was not required due to rain and availability from power exchange. State power crisis is severe, government exploring various solutions without success, uncertainty continues in getting power from nuclear thermal plants. Regulatory Commission informed KSEB there is no bar in purchasing power even above Rs 10 in severe crisis situation. After two days relief power restriction occurred yesterday, power disrupted three times at many places. Yesterday consumption was 97.95 million units, 4785 MW required during peak time, today 900 MW shortage expected as per KSEB.
