കൊച്ചി: പാലാരിവട്ടത്ത് യുവതികളെ വിവസ്ത്രരാക്കി കവര്‍ച്ച നടത്തിയ കേസില്‍ ആറ് പ്രതികളെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. സംഭവത്തില്‍ നേരിട്ട് പങ്കെടുത്ത 5 പ്രതികളെയും ഗൂഢാലോചനയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത ഒരു പ്രതിയെയും ആണ് പിടികൂടിയത്.

ഒരു പ്രതിയെ കൂടി പിടികൂടാന്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്ന് പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. പിടികൂടിയവരില്‍ ഇതര സംസ്ഥാന തൊഴിലാളികളും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നാണ് ഇവരെ പിടികൂടിയത്.

പാലാരിവട്ടത്ത് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച പുലര്‍ച്ചെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം നടന്നത്. വാടക വീട്ടിലേക്ക് അതിക്രമിച്ച് കയറിയ പ്രതികള്‍ സ്വര്‍ണവും മൂന്ന് ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വില വരുന്ന മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണും 1,20,000 രൂപയും കവരുകയായിരുന്നു. യുപിഐ വഴി പന്ത്രണ്ടായിരം രൂപയും മോഷ്ടാക്കള്‍ കൈക്കലാക്കി.

അസം, പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാള്‍ സ്വദേശികളായ യുവതികളാണ് അതിക്രമത്തിന് ഇരയായത്. ആണ്‍ സുഹൃത്തുക്കള്‍ക്കൊപ്പമായിരുന്നു യുവതികള്‍ വാടകയ്ക്ക് താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്.

മാരാകായുധങ്ങളുമായായിരുന്നു അഞ്ചംഗ സംഘം വീട്ടിലേക്ക് അതിക്രമിച്ച് കയറിയത്. തുടര്‍ന്ന് കത്തി കാണിച്ചും കൊന്നുകളയുമെന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയും സ്വര്‍ണവും പണവും മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണുകളും കവരുകയായിരുന്നു. 3,05,000 വില വരുന്ന പത്ത് ഫോണുകളാണ് സംഘം കൈക്കലാക്കിയത്.

തുടര്‍ന്ന് സ്ത്രീകളെ വിവസ്ത്രരാക്കി. അതില്‍ ഒരാളുടെ കഴുത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒരു പവന്‍ തൂക്കത്തിലുള്ള സ്വര്‍ണമാലയും മറ്റൊരാളുടെ നാല് ഗ്രാം തൂക്കമുള്ള സ്വര്‍ണ കമ്മലും പ്രതികള്‍ കവര്‍ന്നു. അതിക്രമത്തിന് ശേഷം സംഘം കടന്നുകളയുകയായിരുന്നു.
