കോഴിക്കോട്: പയ്യോളി ഓയിൽ മില്ലിന് സമീപം കാറിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ച ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് നേരെ ആക്രമണം. മൂരാട് സ്വദേശികളായ വിഷ്ണുവിനും ഭാര്യ അഞ്ജുവിനുമാണ് ആക്രമണത്തിൽ പരിക്കേറ്റത്.

വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ടായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. ബന്ധുവിന്റെ മരണവീട് സന്ദർശിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് ആക്രമണമുണ്ടായത്.

ബൈക്കിലെത്തിയ സംഘം നിരന്തരം ഹോൺ മുഴക്കിയശേഷം കാർ തടഞ്ഞുനിർത്തി ആക്രമിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് പരാതി. ഇതിനിടെ ഹെൽമറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തലയ്ക്ക് അടിയേറ്റ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ ചെവിക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റു.

ആക്രമണം തടയാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച അഞ്ജുവിനെ സംഘം കഴുത്തിൽ പിടിച്ച് റോഡിലേക്ക് തള്ളിയിട്ടതായും പരാതിയിൽ പറയുന്നു.
