**കോഴിക്കോട് : **വളയത്ത് വീട്ടിലെ വരാന്തയിൽ ജീവനൊടുക്കിയ സജില കുമാരിയുടെ സംസ്കാരം ഇന്ന്. ഗൾഫിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഭർത്താവ് ഗിരീഷ് നാട്ടിലെത്തിയ ശേഷം സംസ്കാരം ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ 10 മണിക്ക് വലിയ കുന്നുമ്മൽ വീട്ടുവളപ്പിൽ നടക്കും. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാവിലെ പത്ത് മണിയോടെയാണ് സജിലയെ വീടിന്റെ മുകളിലത്തെ വരാന്തയിൽ തൂങ്ങിയ നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

മകളെ സ്കൂളിലേക്ക് അയച്ചതിന് ശേഷമായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. നാദാപുരം വളയം സ്വദേശി മാരാംവീട്ടിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന ചാലിൽ ഗിരീഷിന്റെ ഭാര്യ സജില കുമാരി (41) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. വളയം പോലീസ് ഇൻക്വസ്റ്റ് നടപടികൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം മൃതദേഹം കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പോസ്റ്റ്‌മോർട്ടം നടത്തി. രാത്രിയോടെ മൃതദേഹം വളയത്തെ വീട്ടിലെത്തിച്ചു.

പ്രൊവിഡൻസ് സ്‌കൂൾ കല്ലാച്ചിയിലെ മൂന്നാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനി ഗൗരി നന്ദനയാണ് മകൾ. അമൃത ബേക്കറി വളയം ഉടമ വലിയ കുന്നുമ്മൽ വാസുവിന്റെയും ശാന്തയുടെയും മകളാണ് പരേതയായ സജില. സഹോദരങ്ങൾ: ശ്രീജിഷ അനൂപ് (പേരാമ്പ്ര), വിജിഷ ഗിരീഷ് (പുതുപ്പണം).
