**മലപ്പുറം : **തിരൂരിൽ സി.ഐ.ടി.യു ജില്ലാ ജോയിൻ സെക്രട്ടറിക്ക് കുത്തേറ്റു. ഓട്ടോ ടാക്സി ലൈറ്റ് മോട്ടോർ വർക്കേഴ്സ് യൂണിയൻ ജില്ലാ ജോയിൻ സെക്രട്ടറി രഞ്ജിത്തിന് കത്രിക കൊണ്ട് കുത്തേറ്റത്. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാത്രി എട്ടരയോടെ പച്ചാട്ടിരിയിൽ വച്ചാണ് സംഭവം നടന്നത്. ആക്രമണത്തിന് പിന്നിൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് പ്രവർത്തകനായ പച്ചാട്ടിരി സ്വദേശി പടാട്ടിൽ അശോകണെന്ന് രഞ്ജിത്ത് പറഞ്ഞു.

പച്ചാട്ടിരിയിലെ കടയിൽ നിൽക്കുകയായിരുന്ന രഞ്ജിത്തിന് നേരെ യാതൊരു പ്രകോപനവും ഇല്ലാതെ അശോകൻ ആക്രമണം നടത്തുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ദൃക്സാക്ഷികൾ പറയുന്നു. പിറകിലൂടെ വന്ന് കുത്തിയതിനെ തുടർന്ന് രഞ്ജിത്തിന്റെ ഇടതു കൈയുടെ പിൻഭാഗത്താണ് പരിക്കേറ്റത്. ആക്രമണം തടുക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് രഞ്ജിത്തിന്റെ കൈവിരലുകൾക്കും തലയ്ക്കും പരിക്കേറ്റിട്ടുണ്ട്.
