കൽപറ്റ: വയനാട് ജില്ലയുടെ 36-മത് ജില്ലാ കളക്ടറായി വി. ചെൽസസിനി ചുമതലയേറ്റു. പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിൽ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കളക്ടർ, കോഴിക്കോട് സബ് കളക്ടർ, കൊച്ചി കോർപറേഷൻ സെക്രട്ടറി, ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പ് ഡയറക്ടർ പദവികൾ വഹിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

2019 ഐ.എ.എസ് ബാച്ച് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥയാണ്. തമിഴ്നാട് നാഗർകോവിൽ സ്വദേശിനിയാണ് വി. ചെൽസസിനി. ഐ.എഫ്.എസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായ വെങ്കിടേശ്വരനാണ് ഭർത്താവ്. ഒന്നര വയസ്സുള്ള രാജമാണിക്യം മകനാണ്.

വയനാട് ജില്ലാ കളക്ടറായിരുന്ന ഡി.ആർ. മേഘശ്രീ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച കളക്ടറേറ്റിലെത്തി സ്ഥാനമൊഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. കർണാടക സ്വദേശിയായ മേഘശ്രീ 2024 ജൂലായ് പതിനേഴിനാണ് വയനാടിൻ്റെ മുപ്പത്തിയഞ്ചാമത് കലക്ടറായി ചുമതലയേറ്റത്.

മേഘശ്രീ വയനാട്ടിലെത്തി രണ്ടാഴ്ചയ്ക്കുള്ളിലായിരുന്നു ചൂരൽമല-മുണ്ടക്കൈ ദുരന്തം. ദുരന്തത്തിലെ രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനവും പുനരധിവാസവും ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധനേടി. ദുരന്തബാധിത കുടുംബങ്ങളുമായി വൈകാരികമായ അടുപ്പവും അവർ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു.
