കൊല്ലം: കാണാതായ യുവാവിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം അഷ്ടമുടിക്കായലിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി. ശക്തികുളങ്ങര കന്നിമേൽച്ചേരി വിഷ്ണുഭവനിൽ ജഗദീശൻ–രമണി ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകൻ വിഷ്ണു ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. അലുമിനിയം ഫാബ്രിക്കേഷൻ തൊഴിലാളിയാണ്.

തിങ്കളാഴ്ച രാവിലെ എട്ടരയോടെ അഞ്ചാലുംമൂട് പ്രാക്കുളം ഫ്രണ്ട്സ് ക്ലബ്ബിന് സമീപം കാക്കത്തോടത്ത് കായൽവാരത്താണ് മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടത്. ഞായറാഴ്ച രാവിലെ എട്ടുമണിയോടെയാണ് വിഷ്ണു വീട്ടിൽനിന്നിറങ്ങിയത്.

പിന്നീട് കാണാതാവുകയായിരുന്നു. ഫോൺ സ്വിച്ച് ഓഫ് ആയിരുന്നു. സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുടെ വീടുകളിൽ തങ്ങുന്നരീതി വിഷ്ണുവിനുള്ളതിനാൽ വീട്ടുകാർ അന്വേഷണം കാര്യമാക്കിയുമില്ല.

പൊലീസ് എത്തി മരണവിവരം പറഞ്ഞപ്പോഴാണ് ബന്ധുക്കൾ അറിഞ്ഞത്. അഞ്ചാലുംമൂട് പൊലീസ് അസ്വാഭാവിക മരണത്തിന് കേസെടുത്ത് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു. ജിഷ്ണുവാണ് സഹോദരൻ.
