ചെന്നൈ : തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ തിരുനെൽവേലിയിൽ ബിരിയാണി കഴിക്കുന്ന ഗണപതിയുടെ ചിത്രം വച്ചുള്ള പരസ്യം വിവാദമായി. സംഭവത്തിൽ ബിരിയാണി കടയുടമയെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.

ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ചിത്രത്തിനോട് അനാദരവ് കാട്ടിയെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ച് സെൽവരാജ് എന്നയാളാണ് പൊലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകിയത്. തുടർന്ന് പൊലീസ് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ ബിരിയാണി കടയുടമ ജയന്ത് (30) അറസ്റ്റിലായി. ബിരിയാണി കടയ്ക്ക് മുൻപിലാണ് ചിത്രം പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചത്.

വിനായക ചതുർഥി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി തമിഴ്നാട്ടിൽ ഒട്ടേറെ ഇടങ്ങളിൽ ആഘോഷങ്ങൾ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. തിരുവണ്ണാമലയിൽ 51,000 രുദ്രാക്ഷമണികൾ കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഗണപതി വിഗ്രഹവും ശ്രദ്ധയാകർഷിച്ചു.

അതേസമയം കോയമ്പത്തൂരിൽ 500 രൂപ കറൻസി നോട്ടുകൾ നിർമിച്ച ഗണപതി വിഗ്രഹവും സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ പ്രചരിച്ചു. 5 ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ 500 രൂപ നോട്ടുകളാണ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. സെപ്റ്റംബർ 19, 20 തീയതികളിലാണ് നിമജ്ജന ഘോഷയാത്രകൾ നടത്താൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
