**തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ** ചിറയിൻകീഴിൽ സിപിഎം ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗത്തിന്റെ വീടിന് നേരെ അജ്ഞാത സംഘത്തിന്റെ ബോംബാക്രമണം. ശാർക്കര ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റിയംഗവും മുൻ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് അംഗവുമായ ബീജ സുരേഷിന്റെ വീടിന് നേരെയാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം രാത്രി പത്ത് മണിയോടെ ആക്രമണമുണ്ടായത്.

ചിറയിൻകീഴ് പുതുക്കരി അവിട്ടം വീട്ടിൽ അതിക്രമിച്ചുകടന്ന സംഘം ബോംബിന് സമാനമായ മൂന്ന് സ്ഫോടക വസ്തുക്കളാണ് വീടിന് നേരെ എറിഞ്ഞത്. ഇതിൽ രണ്ടെണ്ണം ഗേറ്റിനുള്ളിൽ വീണ് പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ചു. മറ്റൊന്ന് സിറ്റൗട്ടിൽ വീണെങ്കിലും പൊട്ടിത്തെറിക്കാത്തതിനാൽ വലിയൊരു ദുരന്തമാണ് ഒഴിവായത്.

സംഭവസമയത്ത് ബീജയുടെ ഭർത്താവ് സുരേഷ്, 13 വയസ്സുള്ള മകൾ, മാതാപിതാക്കൾ എന്നിവർ വീടിനുള്ളിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വൻ ശബ്ദം കേട്ട് ഭയന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞ കുടുംബം പുറത്തിറങ്ങാൻ വൈകിയതിനാൽ അക്രമികൾ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.

പിന്നീട് പുറത്തിറങ്ങി നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് മഴക്കോട്ട് ധരിച്ച് ബൈക്കിലെത്തിയ സംഘമാണ് ആക്രമണം നടത്തിയതെന്ന് സിസിടിവി ദൃശ്യങ്ങളിൽ വ്യക്തമായത്. വിവരമറിഞ്ഞ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയ ചിറയിൻകീഴ് പോലീസ് പരിശോധന നടത്തുകയും സംഭവത്തിൽ കേസെടുത്ത് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

Attack was carried out by unknown gang on house of Beeja Suresh, CPM Sharkara local committee member and former grama panchayat member. Incident occurred around ten pm the other day at Puthukari Avittam house in Chirayinkeezhu. Attackers who came wearing raincoat threw three bomb-like explosive materials towards house. Two fell inside gate and exploded. One fell in sitout but did not explode, so major accident was avoided. At time of incident, Beeja's husband Suresh and 13-year-old daughter and parents were in house. Hearing sound, family did not come out in fear. By time they came out after some time, attackers had fled. From examination of nearby CCTV footage, some people who came on bike wearing rain coat were seen throwing explosive materials. Chirayinkeezhu police reached spot and conducted inspection. Police informed that case has been registered and investigation started in incident.
