**കാസർകോട്: **ഭാര്യ ജീവനൊടുക്കി ഒരു മാസം തികയും മുൻപേ ഭർത്താവിനെയും അതേ മുറിയിൽ മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി. കാസർകോട് പരപ്പ കൊട്ടമടലിലെ പവിത്രൻ ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം 14-നായിരുന്നു പവിത്രന്റെ ഭാര്യ ഗീത ജീവനൊടുക്കിയത്.

ഭാര്യയുടെ വേർപാടിനു ശേഷം പവിത്രൻ വലിയ മാനസിക വിഷമത്തിലായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ബന്ധുക്കൾ പറഞ്ഞു. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാത്രി 10 മണിക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് പവിത്രനെ കിടപ്പുമുറിയിൽ അനക്കമറ്റ നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. ഭാര്യ ഗീത തൂങ്ങിമരിച്ച അതേ മുറിയിൽ തന്നെയാണ് പവിത്രനെയും തൂങ്ങിമരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

കുടുംബപ്രശ്നങ്ങളൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലെന്നും മരണകാരണം വ്യക്തമല്ലെന്നും ബന്ധുക്കൾ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. പ്രവാസിയായിരുന്ന പവിത്രൻ നാട്ടിൽ തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ ശേഷം റബ്ബർ വെട്ട് ജോലികൾ ചെയ്തുവരികയായിരുന്നു. ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് രണ്ട് മക്കളുണ്ട്. പോസ്റ്റ്‌മോർട്ടത്തിന് ശേഷം മൃതദേഹം ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് വിട്ടുനൽകും. സംസ്‌കാരം ഇന്ന് വീട്ടുവളപ്പിൽ നടക്കും.
