**കണ്ണൂർ: ക**ണ്ണൂർ സെൻട്രൽ ജയിലിലെ ആറാം ബ്ലോക്കിന്റെ പിൻഭാഗത്ത് പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് കുപ്പിയിലാക്കി കുഴിച്ചിട്ട നിലയിൽ രണ്ട് മൊബൈൽ ഫോണുകൾ കണ്ടെത്തി. ജയിലിനുള്ളിൽ മണ്ണ് ഇളക്കി മാറ്റിയ നിലയിൽ കണ്ടതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ജയിൽ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് ഫോണുകൾ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

Police registered case against prison officer Jishnu based on complaint filed by inmate Jalaluddin. Town police took action following direction of Kannur Judicial First Class Magistrate Court. Incident was on June 30. Jalaluddin had asked jail officials that he had physical discomforts and should be taken to hospital and given necessary medical help. Enraged by this, prison officer Jishnu allegedly detained Jalaluddin and fellow inmates without reason and assaulted them, complaint says. The other day, Kapa prisoners also clashed in jail.
