**പത്തനംതിട്ട: ** വടക്കൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിൽ ന്യൂനമർദ്ദം രൂപപ്പെട്ടതായി കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ്. ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് തീരത്തിന് സമീപം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ചക്രവാതച്ചുഴി ശക്തി പ്രാപിച്ചാണ് ന്യൂനമർദ്ദമായി മാറിയത്.ന്യൂനമർദ്ദത്തിന്റെ സ്വാധീനത്തിൽ കേരളത്തിൽ വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ മഴ സജീവമാകും.

സെപ്റ്റംബർ 10 മുതൽ 14 വരെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് നേരിയതോ മിതമായതോ ആയ മഴയ്ക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തൽ. 11, 12 തീയതികളിൽ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഇടങ്ങളിൽ ശക്തമായ മഴ പെയ്യാനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.ഇതേ തുടർന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് യെല്ലോ അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
