പാലക്കാട്: അട്ടപ്പാടിയില്‍ ഇരട്ടക്കൊലപാതകത്തില്‍ പ്രതിയായ പശ്ചിമബംഗാള്‍ സ്വദേശി പ്രവത് ദാസ് പിടിയില്‍. അഗളി എസ്ഐയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പൊലീസ് സംഘമാണ് പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളില്‍ ഒളിവിലായിരുന്ന പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്. ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലില്‍ പ്രതി കുറ്റം സമ്മതിച്ചു.

കൊലപാതകത്തിനു ശേഷം യന്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഇരുവരുടെയും തലയറുത്തു മാറ്റുകയും ശരീരഭാഗങ്ങൾ കഷണങ്ങളാക്കി മൂന്ന് പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക്ക് ചാക്കുകളിലാക്കി പുഴയിൽ തള്ളുകയുമായിരുന്നു. അതിനുശേഷം പ്രവത് ദാസ് പശ്ചിമബംഗാളിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുപോയി ഒളിവില്‍ കഴിയുകയായിരുന്നു.
