**സുൽത്താൻ ബത്തേരി: **കർണാടക ആർ.ടി.സി ബസിൽ അടിവസ്ത്രത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഒളിപ്പിച്ച് മാരക ലഹരിമരുന്നായ എം.ഡി.എം.എ കടത്താൻ ശ്രമിച്ച യുവാവിനെ ജില്ലാ ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ സ്ക്വാഡും ബത്തേരി പോലീസും ചേർന്ന് പിടികൂടി. കാസർഗോഡ് പെരിയടുക്ക അൻസാർ മൻസിൽ പി.എ. അൻസാർ ആണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായത്.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം രാവിലെ അതിർത്തിയിൽ ബത്തേരി പോലീസും ഡാൻസാഫും (DANSAF) നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് പ്രതി പിടിയിലാകുന്നത്. സംശയത്തെ തുടർന്ന് നടത്തിയ ശരീര പരിശോധനയിൽ അടിവസ്ത്രത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഒളിപ്പിച്ച നിലയിൽ 14.91 ഗ്രാം എം.ഡി.എം.എയും, ടാബ്‌ലെറ്റ് രൂപത്തിലുള്ള 1.21 ഗ്രാം തൂക്കം വരുന്ന രണ്ട് ലഹരി ഗുളികകളും കണ്ടെടുത്തു.

പിടിയിലായ അൻസാർ നിരവധി കേസുകളിൽ പ്രതിയാണെന്ന് പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. ഇയാൾക്കെതിരെ കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ വിവിധ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിലായി ലഹരിക്കടത്ത്, മോഷണം, വധശ്രമം, അതിക്രമിച്ചു കടക്കൽ തുടങ്ങി പത്തോളം കേസുകൾ നിലവിലുണ്ട്.

ബത്തേരി ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ എസ്.എച്ച്.ഒ കെ.എസ്. അജേഷിന്റെ നിർദേശപ്രകാരം സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ സനൽ, ചെക്ക് പോസ്റ്റ് ഡ്യൂട്ടിയിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന കുഞ്ഞിരാമൻ, സീനിയർ സിവിൽ പോലീസ് ഓഫീസർമാരായ ശിവദാസൻ, ദീപേഷ് രാജൻ, സുരേഷ് കുമാർ എന്നിവരടങ്ങിയ സംഘമാണ് പ്രതിയെ വലയിലാക്കിയത്.
