കോഴിക്കോട്: വടകര അധ്യാപകർ പ്രതിയായ എംഡിഎംഎ കേസിൽ രണ്ടാം പ്രതി കീർത്തനയ്ക്ക് ജാമ്യം. ഹൈക്കോടതിയാണ് ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചത്. നേരത്തെ കോഴിക്കോട് മരുതോങ്കര സ്വദേശി കീര്‍ത്തനയെ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിൽ വിട്ടിരുന്നു.

ബാങ്ക് ഇടപാട് നടത്തുന്നത് കുറ്റകരമല്ലെന്നും 5000 രൂപയുടെ സാമ്പത്തിക ഇടപാട് മാത്രമാണ് നടത്തിയതെന്നുമായിരുന്നു പ്രതിഭാഗം വാദം. ലഹരി സംഘവുമായി പ്രതിക്ക് നേരിട്ട് ബന്ധമുണ്ടെന്നും കൂടുതൽ പ്രതികളിലേക്ക് എത്താനും തെളിവ് ശേഖരിക്കാനും കസ്റ്റഡിയിൽ വേണമെന്നുമായിരുന്നു പ്രോസിക്യൂഷൻ വാദം.

ലഹരിമരുന്ന് കേസില്‍ പിടിയിലായതിന് പിന്നാലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ അധ്യാപികയേയും പുറത്താക്കിയിരുന്നു. വടകര എംഡിഎംഎ കേസിൽ പേരാമ്പ്ര ബിആർസി സ്പെഷ്യൽ എജ്യുക്കേറ്റർ കാവ്യയേയും പേരാമ്പ്ര ബ്ലോക്ക് റിസോഴ്സ് കേന്ദ്രത്തിലെ സ്പെഷ്യലിസ്റ്റ് കായിക അധ്യാപികയായ കീര്‍ത്തനയേയുമാണ് പുറത്താക്കിയത്.

മയക്കുമരുന്ന് വാങ്ങുന്നവർ കാവ്യയുടെ അക്കൌണ്ടിലേക്കായിരുന്നു പണം അയച്ചിരുന്നത്. അധ്യാപകരെ ഇടനിലക്കാരാക്കിയുള്ള ലഹരി വ്യാപാരം കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം 28ന് വടകര സ്വദേശിയെ പിടിയിലായതോടെയാണ് പുറത്ത് വന്നത്. ഈ കേസിലെ അന്വേഷണമാണ് അധ്യാപികമാരിലേക്ക് എത്തിയത്.
