മലപ്പുറം: ദേശീയപാതയില്‍ വെളിമുക്കില്‍ കാര്‍ ഡിവൈഡറിലിടിച്ച് മറിഞ്ഞുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തില്‍ ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന മൂന്ന് വയസുകാരിക്ക് ജീവൻ നഷ്ടമായി.

കൊടിഞ്ഞി കാളംതിരുത്തി കൊല്ലംതൊടി സ്വദേശി തന്‍വീര്‍ - സഫ്‌ന ഷെറിന്‍ ദമ്പതികളുടെ ഏക മകള്‍ സൂന നഹര്‍ ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം വൈകുന്നേരമാണ് വെളിമുക്കില്‍ വെച്ച് അപകടം നടന്നത്.

കല്ല്യാണവീട്ടില്‍ വെച്ച് വലിയുമ്മയുടെ കൂടെ പോകാന്‍ കുട്ടി നിര്‍ബന്ധം പിടിച്ചതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് സഫ്‌നയുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം പടിക്കലിലെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് പോകുമ്പോഴായിരുന്നു അപകടം.

ഇവര്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിരുന്ന കാര്‍ നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് ദേശീയപാതയിലെ ഡിവൈഡറിലിടിച്ച് തലകീഴായി മറിയുകയായിരുന്നു. അപകടത്തില്‍ തലയോട്ടിക്ക് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ കുട്ടിയെ ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ കോഴിക്കോട്ടെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.

പിന്നീട് കൂടുതല്‍ വിദഗ്ദ്ധ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കായി കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റിയെങ്കിലും ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
