ഇടുക്കി: പുതിയ കാലത്ത് നൂതന അന്വേഷണ രീതികളിലൂടെ ലഹരി ശൃംഖലയുടെ വേരറുക്കാനാണ് പൊലീസ് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് ആഭ്യന്തര വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല. ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ തൂഫാന്‍ ദ നാര്‍ക്കോ ഹണ്ട് - തൂഫാന്‍ ജാഗരണ്‍ -ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ പരിപാടിയുടെ ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലാതല ഉദ്ഘാടനം മുരിക്കാശ്ശേരി പാവനാത്മാ കോളജ് ഇന്‍ഡോര്‍ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തില്‍ നിര്‍വഹിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു മന്ത്രി.

ലഹരി വ്യാപനത്തിന്റെ നൂതന വഴികള്‍ തടയാന്‍ പൊലീസ് പുതിയ സംവിധാനം ആവിഷ്‌കരിച്ചുവരികയാണ്. ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ പോരാട്ടമായി 'ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ തൂഫാന്‍' മാറി.

തൂഫാന്‍റെ മറ്റൊരു മുഖമായ തൂഫാന്‍ ജാഗരണാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ നടക്കുന്നത്. ലഹരി ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ദുസ്സഹമായ സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളെ ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയുടെയും മനസ്സിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കുകവഴി അവരെ അതില്‍ നിന്ന് മോചിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ് തൂഫാന്‍ ജാഗരണിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം.

കുടുംബങ്ങളിലും കോളേജുകളിലും സ്‌കൂളുകളിലും കൃത്യമായ ജാഗ്രത ആവശ്യമാണ്. അയല്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ലഹരിയുടെ ഒഴുക്ക് തടയാന്‍ അയല്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ ഡി.ജി.പി.മാരുടെ യോഗം വിളിച്ചു. ഓരോ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാരെയും നേരിട്ടു കണ്ടു.

കര്‍ണാടക, തമിഴ്നാട് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാരെ കണ്ടു. ആന്ധ്ര, തെലങ്കാന, പോണ്ടിച്ചേരി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിമാരെയും ഉടന്‍ കാണും. അയല്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് കൂടുതല്‍ പേരെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ പിടിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നുണ്ട്. പാലക്കാട്, കോഴിക്കോട് ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ലഹരിമരുന്ന് കച്ചവടവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കള്ളപ്പണ ഇടപാടുകള്‍ കണ്ടെത്താന്‍ ഇഡി റെയ്ഡും നടക്കുകയാണെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

Toofan Jagaran aims to free people by taking unbearable social problems caused by drugs to each person's mind. Vigilance needed in families, colleges, schools. To stop drug flow from neighboring states, meeting of neighboring DGPs called, met each Chief Minister directly, met Karnataka, Tamil Nadu CMs, will meet Andhra, Telangana, Puducherry CMs soon, with help of neighboring states more arrests possible now, ED raids also happening to detect black money transactions related to drug trade including Palakkad, Kozhikode, minister said.
