കോയമ്പത്തൂർ : കോയമ്പത്തൂരിൽ മാനസിക വെല്ലുവിളി നേരിടുന്ന യുവതിക്കുനേരെ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമം. സംഭവത്തിൽ 17 വയസുകാരനെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. യുവാവിന്റെ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ നിന്നും തെരുവ് നായകളാണ് യുവതിയെ രക്ഷിച്ചത്. കോയമ്പത്തൂർ തുടിയലൂരിലാണ് സംഭവം.

സംഭവത്തിന്റെ സിസിടിവി ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ പുറത്തുവന്നു. തുടിയലൂരിന് സമീപത്തെ എൻജിജിഒ കോളനി– അശോകപുരം മേഖലയിലെ റെയിൽവേ മേൽപ്പാലത്തിന് സമീപം വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച പുലർച്ചെ രണ്ടോടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം.

യുവാവ് കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞ് നായകളെ അകറ്റാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും നായകൾ കുറച്ചുദൂരെ മാറിനിന്നു. പിന്നീട് യുവാവ് യുവതിയെ ലൈംഗികമായി ആക്രമിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. യുവതി നിലവിളിച്ചതോടെ നായകളിൽ ഒന്ന് യുവാവിന് നേരെ ചാടുകയും രണ്ടാമത്തെ നായ കാലിൽ കടിച്ചും പിടിച്ചുവലിച്ചും ഇയാളെ യുവതിയിൽ നിന്ന് അകറ്റുകയും ചെയ്തു.

Youth tried to chase dogs by throwing stones but dogs stayed at distance. Later youth attempted to assault woman sexually. When woman screamed, one dog jumped on youth and second dog bit his leg and dragged him away from woman. Following dogs' resistance youth abandoned attempt and fled, dogs seen chasing him in visuals. Thudiyalur police identified and arrested accused.
