**കോഴിക്കോട്: ** താമരശ്ശേരിയിലെ സ്പായിൽ കയറി ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി പണം കൈക്കലാക്കിയ സംഭവത്തിൽ സിവിൽ പോലീസ് ഓഫീസറെ സർവീസിൽ നിന്ന് സസ്പെൻഡ് ചെയ്തു. കോടഞ്ചേരി പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ സി.പി.ഒ മുഹമ്മദ് ഫാസിലിനെയാണ് അന്വേഷണ വിധേയമായി സർവീസിൽ നിന്ന് നീക്കിയത്.

ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട പണം തന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്ഥാപനം പൂട്ടിക്കുമെന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി സ്പാ ഉടമയിൽ നിന്ന് ഇയാൾ 1,500 രൂപ വാങ്ങിയെന്നാണ് ആരോപണം. സംഭവത്തിൽ സ്പെഷ്യൽ ബ്രാഞ്ച് നടത്തിയ രഹസ്യാന്വേഷണ റിപ്പോർട്ടിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് റൂറൽ പോലീസ് മേധാവിയുടെ നടപടി. ഇയാൾക്കെതിരെ കൂടുതൽ വകുപ്പുതല അന്വേഷണം നടന്നു വരികയാണെന്ന് പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
