In Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, a 40-year-old woman was gang-raped after two youths trespassed into her own house and assaulted her seriously. Police took two local youths into custody. Incident happened on Friday night August 28 when woman was alone in apartment. On Saturday morning when she did not respond to neighbours calls, they searched and found her unconscious with injuries and informed police. She was first shifted to nearby private hospital and later to Vijayawada Government General Hospital for expert treatment and examination.
