ശ്രീകണ്ഠപുരം: പണമയച്ചതായി വ്യാജ സ്‌ക്രീൻഷോട്ടിലൂടെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിച്ച് ജൂവലറികളിൽനിന്ന് സ്വർണാഭരണങ്ങൾ തട്ടിയ യുവാവ് പിടിയിലായി. പാപ്പിനിശ്ശേരി അരോളി കാമ്രത്ത്‌മൊട്ട അമൃതം മൈക്കീൽ ഹൗസിൽ ഇ.ജി.അഭിഷേകിനെയാണ് തളിപ്പറമ്പ് ഡിവൈ.എസ്.പി. ടി.പി.സുമേഷിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണസംഘം അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്.

ശ്രീകണ്ഠപുരത്തെ പാറമ്പുഴയിൽ ജൂവലറിയിൽനിന്ന് 5.970 ഗ്രാമും 23.990 ഗ്രാമും തൂക്കംവരുന്ന രണ്ട് സ്വർണമാല വ്യാജ സ്ക്രീൻഷോട്ട് കാണിച്ച് വാങ്ങിയെന്ന കേസിലാണ് ഇയാളെ പിടിച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ 13-നാണ് ശ്യാംകൃഷ്ണൻ എന്ന് പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തിയ യുവാവ് ശ്രീകണ്ഠപുരത്തെ ജൂവലറിയിലെത്തി സ്വർണാഭരണങ്ങൾ വാങ്ങിയത്. തുടർന്ന് ബാങ്ക് ഇടപാടിന്റെ വ്യാജ സ്‌ക്രീൻഷോട്ട് കാണിച്ച് ജീവനക്കാരെ കബളിപ്പിച്ച് കടന്നുകളയുകയായിരുന്നു.

പിന്നീടാണ് തട്ടിപ്പ് പുറത്തായത്. ഇയാൾ നൽകിയ ഫോൺ നമ്പറിൽ ജൂവലറി അധികൃതർ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ഇ.ജി.അഭിഷേക് എന്നയാളുടെ അക്കൗണ്ടിൽനിന്ന് 58,000 രൂപ അയച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. എന്നാൽ ബാക്കി തുകയായ 4,00,500 രൂപ അയച്ചുകൊടുത്തില്ല.

തുടർന്ന് 19-ന് ഉടമ ശ്രീകണ്ഠപുരം പോലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകുകയായിരുന്നു. ഗോവയിൽനിന്ന് വരുന്നതിനിടെ എറണാകുളം റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിയാണ് ഇയാളെ കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം പോലീസ് പിടിച്ചത്. വ്യാജ സ്‌ക്രീൻഷോട്ട് കാണിച്ച് ഇയാൾ നിരവധി സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ തട്ടിപ്പ് നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

ശ്രീകണ്ഠപുരം എസ്.ഐ. കെ.ഷർഫുദ്ദീൻ, ഡിവൈ.എസ്.പി.യുടെ ക്രൈംസ്ക്വാഡ് അംഗങ്ങളായ എസ്.ഐ. അബ്ദുൽറൗഫ്, സീനിയർ സി.പി.ഒ. ബിനീഷ് എന്നിവരടങ്ങിയ സംഘമാണ് പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്.
