കോഴിക്കോട് : വടകര മണിയൂർ ചൊവ്വാപ്പുഴയിൽ കുളിക്കാനിറങ്ങിയ വിദ്യാർഥിയെ കാണാതായി. മലപ്പുറം സ്വദേശിയായ വിദ്യാർഥിയെയാണ് കാണാതായത്. നാല് പേരടങ്ങുന്ന സംഘമാണ് പുഴയിൽ കുളിക്കാനെത്തിയത്.

നാലുപേരും അപടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും രണ്ടുപേർ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. ഒരാളെ നാട്ടുകാർ നടത്തിയ തിരച്ചിലിൽ ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി. ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിലായിരുന്ന നബീലെന്ന യുവാവിനെ ആശുപത്രിലേക്ക് മാറ്റിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ഫയർഫോഴ്‌സും നാട്ടുകാരും ചേർന്ന് ഒരാൾക്കായി തിരച്ചിൽ തുടരുകയാണ്. കണ്ടെത്താനുള്ള ആളുടെ ലഭ്യമായിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് ഫയർഫോഴ്‌സ് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. പ്രദേശത്ത് ശക്തമായ ഒഴുക്കുള്ളത് തിരച്ചിലിന് തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

അതേസമയം കോഴിക്കോട്  കൊടുവള്ളി മാനിപുരത്ത് 15കാരൻ പുഴയിൽ ഒഴുക്കിൽപ്പെട്ടു. കരീറ്റിപറമ്പ് ഹംസയുടെ മകൻ മുഹമ്മദ് ഷഹിൻ (15) ആണ് ഒഴുക്കിൽപ്പെട്ടത്. സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾക്കൊപ്പം മീൻപിടിക്കാൻ എത്തിയപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു അപകടം.

കൂട്ടത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന കുട്ടികൾ വിവരമറിയിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് നാട്ടുകാരും മാവൂർ ഫയർഫോഴ്സും പൊലീസും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി തിരച്ചിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചു. പുഴയിലെ ശക്തമായ ഒഴുക്ക് തിരച്ചിലിന് തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും തിരച്ചിൽ പ്രദേശത്ത് പുരോഗമിക്കുകയാണ്.
