പത്തനംതിട്ട: പത്തനംതിട്ട അബാന്‍ ജംഗ്ഷനില്‍ കാര്‍ നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട് കാല്‍നടയാത്രക്കാരിലേക്ക് പാഞ്ഞുകയറി ഉണ്ടായ അപകടത്തില്‍ ഒരാള്‍ മരിച്ചു. കുലശേഖരപതി സ്വദേശി അബുവാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

അപകടത്തില്‍ പരിക്കേറ്റ നാല് ഇതര സംസ്ഥാന തൊഴിലാളികളെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇതില്‍ ഒരാളുടെ ആരോഗ്യനില അതീവ ഗുരുതരമായി തുടരുകയാണ്.

ഇതിനുശേഷവും മുന്നോട്ട് പാഞ്ഞ കാര്‍ റോഡിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മറ്റു ചില വാഹനങ്ങളിലും ഇടിച്ചു. അപകടമുണ്ടാക്കിയ കാറിൻ്റെ ഡ്രൈവര്‍ മദ്യലഹരിയിലായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ് സൂചന.
