കണ്ണൂർ: പയ്യന്നൂർ പെരുമ്പയിൽ അമിതവേഗതയിലെത്തിയ കാറിടിച്ച് യുവാവ് മരിച്ചു. മയ്യിൽ നിരത്തുംപാലം സ്വദേശി ഷാഹിദ് ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഒപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന തിരുവട്ടൂർ സ്വദേശി ഷിബിലിന് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റു.

പുലർച്ചെ രണ്ടരയോടെയാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്. കൊല്ലത്ത് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളായ ഇരുവരും അവധിക്ക് നാട്ടിൽ വന്നതായിരുന്നു. റോഡിലൂടെ നടന്ന് പോകുമ്പോൾ കാറിടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അപകടമുണ്ടാക്കിയ ശേഷം നിർത്താതെ പോയ കാർ പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു.
