കൊല്ലം: കൊല്ലം ശാസ്താംകോട്ടയിലെ വാനരന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് ഓണക്കാലം കുശാലാണ്. ശാസ്താംകോട്ട ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലത്തുന്ന ഭക്തര്‍ വിഭവ സമൃദ്ധമായ സദ്യയാണ് വാനരന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കുന്നത്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ വാനര സദ്യാലയത്തിൽ ഓണസദ്യ കഴിക്കാൻ ഇത്തവണയും വാനരന്മാർ ഓടിയെത്തി.

ഇത്തവണയും പതിവ് തെറ്റിച്ചില്ല. ശാസ്താംകോട്ടയിലെ വാനരന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് വയറു നിറച്ച് തന്നെ ഭക്തര്‍ സദ്യ വിളമ്പി. ഓണ നാളുകളില്‍ വാനരന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് ശാസ്താംകോട്ടക്കാര്‍ സദ്യ വിളമ്പിത്തുടങ്ങി അഞ്ച് പതിറ്റാണ്ട് പിന്നിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.

തൂശനിലയില്‍ ചോറും പരിപ്പും സാമ്പാറുമെല്ലാം വിളമ്പിയതോടെ വാനരന്‍മാര്‍ സദ്യ കഴിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി. വയറ് നിറയെ ചോറും കഴിച്ച്, പാൽ പായസവും കുടിച്ച ശേഷമായിരുന്നു വാനരൻമാർ തിരികെ പോയത്.

രാമായണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിശ്വാസമാണ് വാനര സദ്യക്ക് പിന്നിൽ. മുൻപ് ഉത്രാട ദിനത്തില്‍ മാത്രം നല്‍കിയിരുന്ന വാനരയുട്ട് ഇപ്പോൾ തിരുവോണ ദിവസവും നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്.
