**കോഴിക്കോട്: **കോഴിക്കോട് എലത്തൂരിൽ കാറുകൾ തുടരെയിടിച്ചുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തിൽ കോളേജ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥി മരിച്ചു. ചെങ്ങോട്ടുകാവ് സെറീന കോട്ടേജ് സ്വദേശി ഫർസീൻ അഹമ്മദ് ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. വെങ്ങളം - രാമനാട്ടുകര ബൈപ്പാസിൽ ഇന്നലെ രാവിലെ 10.45-ഓടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം.

കൊയിലാണ്ടി ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് കോഴിക്കോട് നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് ബൈക്കിൽ പോവുകയായിരുന്ന ഫർസീനെ എതിർദിശയിൽ വന്ന കാർ ആദ്യം ഇടിച്ചു. ഇടിയുടെ ആഘാതത്തിൽ റോഡിന്റെ വലതുഭാഗത്തേക്ക് തെറിച്ചുവീണ അദ്ദേഹം എഴുന്നേൽക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ എതിർദിശയിൽ നിന്ന് വേഗത്തിലെത്തിയ മറ്റൊരു കാർ കൂടി ഇടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അപകടത്തിൽ ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ ഫർസീൻ ഏകദേശം 20 മിനിറ്റോളം റോഡിൽ രക്തം വാർന്നു കിടന്നു.

വഴിയിലൂടെ പോയവർ ഉടൻ കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. ഫൈസൽ അഹമ്മദാണ് ഫർസീന്റെ പിതാവ്. മാതാവ് റംസീന. സഹോദരങ്ങൾ മുഹമ്മദ് ഫിസാൻ, ഫാത്തിമ റിഫ്ന.  മയ്യിത്ത് നമസ്കാരം ഇന്ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ചെങ്ങോട്ടുകാവ് ജുമാ മസ്ജിദിലും ഖബറടക്കം മാടാക്കര ജുമാ മസ്ജിദ് ഖബർസ്ഥാനിലും നടക്കും.

An 18-year-old college student, Farseen Ahmed of Chengottukavu, died after being hit by two cars in succession at Elathur on the Vengalam-Ramanattukara bypass in Kozhikode on Tuesday around 10.45 AM. While riding his bike towards the city from Koyilandy, he was first hit by a car coming from the opposite direction. Thrown to the right side of the road, he was then hit again by another speeding car. Locals rushed him to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, but he succumbed to injuries. Funeral prayers will be held at Chengottukavu Juma Masjid today, followed by burial at Madakkara Juma Masjid cemetery.
