കോട്ടയം : പാലായിൽ ഭർത്താവിന് അവസാന മുത്തം നൽകിയ ഉടൻ ഭാര്യ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണു മരിച്ചു. പാലാ പുത്തൻപള്ളിക്കുന്ന് വാഴയിൽ കുര്യൻ ജോസഫിന്റെ (കുര്യച്ചൻ–73) സംസ്കാര ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ ആദ്യ ഭാഗം വസതിയിൽ പൂർത്തിയായപ്പോൾ അന്ത്യചുംബനം നൽകിയ ഭാര്യ ഷേർലി കുര്യൻ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീഴുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഉടൻ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. 15ന് ഉച്ചയോടെയാണു കുര്യച്ചൻ മരിച്ചത്. ഇന്നലെ രാവിലെ 11നു വസതിയിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷകൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കി മൃതദേഹം പള്ളിയിലേക്കു എടുക്കുന്നതിനു തൊട്ടുമുൻപാണു ഭാര്യ ഷേർലി കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണത്.
