കോഴിക്കോട്: നാലുദിവസം മുൻപ് പൂനൂർ പുഴയിൽ കാണാതായ വയോധികയുടെ മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തി. കുന്ദമംഗലം തൂവകുന്ന് സ്വദേശിനി രാധയുടെ മൃതദേഹമാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.

ഞായറാഴ്ച ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഒരു മണിയോടെ ഇവരെ കാണാതായെന്ന് സംശയിക്കുന്ന കുന്ദമംഗലം താളിക്കുണ്ട് കടവിന് താഴെ വെച്ചാണ് മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. രാവിലെ മുതൽ അഗ്നിരക്ഷാസേനയിലെ സ്കൂബ സംഘവും സിവിൽ ഡിഫൻസും നാട്ടുകാരും പുഴയിൽ വ്യാപകമായി തിരച്ചിൽ നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.

കുന്ദമംഗലം പോലീസിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഇൻക്വസ്റ്റ് നടപടികൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം മൃതദേഹം കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രി മോർച്ചറിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. എൺപതുകാരിയായ രാധയെ കാണാതായതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ബന്ധുക്കൾ നൽകിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് തിരച്ചിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചത്.
