കിണറിലെ മോട്ടോർ അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണി നടത്തുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് അപകടം സംഭവിച്ചത്. ചമാരി മാഞ്ചി, മകൻ ദിൽചന്ദ് മാഞ്ചി, വികാസ് ചൗധരി, വിജയ് ചൗധരി എന്നിവരാണ് മരണപ്പെട്ടത്. കിണറ്റിൽ വെച്ചുതന്നെ വിഷവാതകം ശ്വസിച്ച് ശ്വാസംമുട്ടിയാണ് നാലുപേരും മരണപ്പെട്ടതെന്ന് പൊലീസ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. തുടർന്ന് ഫയർഫോഴ്സും നാട്ടുകാരും ചേർന്ന് മൃതദേഹങ്ങൾ പുറത്തെടുത്തു.
