**കോഴിക്കോട്: **വാഴക്കുല വെട്ടുമ്പോൾ വയോധികന്റെ കൈക്ക് പാമ്പുകടിയേറ്റു. ചമൽ സ്വദേശി ശിവന്റെ കൈക്കാണ് പാമ്പുകടിയേറ്റത്. ബുധനാഴ്ച രാവില 9.30 ഓടെയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം.

വീടിനു സമീപത്തെ വാഴത്തോട്ടത്തിൽനിന്ന് കുല വെട്ടുമ്പോൾ വാഴയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പാമ്പാണ് കൈക്ക് കടിച്ചത്. ഉടനെ കടിച്ച പാമ്പിനെ കവറിലാക്കി താമരശ്ശേരി താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രാഥമിക ചികിത്സ തേടി. തുർന്ന് 108 ആബുലൻസിൽ കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. വിഷമുള്ള ഇനത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട പാമ്പാണ് കടിച്ചത്.
