**കോഴിക്കോട്: ** ടൈല്‍ പാകുന്ന ജോലിക്കിടെ അബദ്ധത്തില്‍ ടൈല്‍ കട്ടിംഗ് മെഷീന്‍ ഇരുകാലിലും കൊണ്ട് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ തൊഴിലാളി മരിച്ചു. കോഴിക്കോട് താമരശ്ശേരി കോരങ്ങാട് സ്വദേശി രാജന്‍ ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസമാണ് ദാരുണ അപകടം നടന്നത്. കോരങ്ങാടുള്ള ഒരു സലൂണില്‍ നിര്‍മാണ ജോലിക്കെത്തിയതായിരുന്നു രാജന്‍. വൈകീട്ട് 6.45 ഓടെയാണ് അപകടം സംഭവിച്ചത്.

ടൈല്‍ കട്ടുചെയ്യുന്നതിനിടെ കട്ടിംഗ് മെഷീന്‍ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ കയ്യില്‍ നിന്ന് തെന്നി മാറുകയും ഇരു കാലുകളിലും ആഴത്തില്‍ മുറിവേല്‍ക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു. ഉടന്‍തന്നെ താമരശ്ശേരി താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയിലും തുടര്‍ന്ന് കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലും എത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെ പുലര്‍ച്ചയോടെ ജീവന്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.
