**കൊച്ചി: ** പാമ്പാക്കുട പഞ്ചായത്ത് 10–ാം വാർഡ് ആയ ഓണക്കൂറിലെ കോൺഗ്രസ് സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥി കുഴഞ്ഞു വീണ് മരിച്ചു. സി.എസ്.ബാബു ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. പുലർച്ചെ 3നായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. വീട്ടിൽ വച്ച് കുഴഞ്ഞു വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു.

ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചപ്പോഴേക്കും മരണം സംഭവിച്ചു. സ്ഥാനാര്‍ത്ഥിയുടെ മരണത്തെ തുടർന്ന് പാമ്പാക്കുട പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ പത്താം വാർഡിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് മാറ്റിവച്ചതായി അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു.
