വൈക്കം റോഡ് റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ നിർത്തിയിട്ടിരുന്ന ചരക്ക് ട്രെയിനിന് മുകളിൽ കയറി ഷോക്കേറ്റ് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന യുവാവ് മരിച്ചു. കടുത്തുരുത്തി ഗവ.പോളിടെക്നിക് കോളേജ് വിദ്യാർഥിയായ അദ്വൈതാണ് മരിച്ചത്. എറണാകുളം കുമ്പളം സ്വദേശിയാണ്.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരാഴ്ചയായി കോട്ടയം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു. സെപ്റ്റംബർ ഒൻപത് ചൊവ്വാഴ്ചയായിരുന്നു സംഭവം. ട്രെയിനിന്റെ ഗോവണിയിൽ കൂടെ മറുവശത്തേക്ക് കടക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോഴായിരുന്നു അപകടം സംഭവിച്ചത്.
